The Site Configuration module allows you to customize and manage core settings for your Globb Edu platform. Set up essential information such as school name, logo, contact details, academic preferences, and localization settings. This ensures the system is tailored to your institution’s identity and operational needs. Note: After making any changes in the Site Configuration settings, don’t forget to click Save to apply your updates.
Site Information #

1, Click on Site Configurations.
2. Open the Site Information section and add to the field or make changes.
3. Click Save to apply your changes.
Note: Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions to help you set up key settings such as general settings, institute details, and user roles.
General Setting #

1. Click on Site Configurations.
2. Expand the General Settings dropdown to view input fields with default information and Update the fields as needed.
3. Click Save to apply the changes.
Institute Details #

1. Expand the Institute Details dropdown to view the input fields, then update them as needed — especially the School Start Time and End Time.
2. Click Save to apply the changes.
Timetable Configuration #

1. Expand the Timetable Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Use the Background Color and Text Color dropdowns to open the color palette. Select your preferred colors to replace the default settings — these changes will be reflected on the timetable display.
3. Click Save to apply the changes
library Configuration #

1. Expand the Library Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Enter the Library Fee in the Library Subscription field. If students are not required to pay, enter 0.
3. Enable Library Subscription Compulsory if the library fee must be paid during school fee payment; otherwise, leave it disabled.
4. Enable Is Library Enabled to allow students to access the library module on the web app mobile app.
5. Select the designated Library Staff (e.g., Librarian) from the list of users created under the User Group.
6. Click Save to apply the changes
Transportation Configuration #

1. Expand the Transportation Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Enable Transportation Subscription Compulsory if the transportation fee must be paid during school fee payment; otherwise, leave it disabled.
3. Enable Is Transportation Enabled to allow students to access the transportation module on the web app and mobile app.
4. Select the designated Transportation Staff (e.g., Driver) from the list of users created under the User Group and don’t forget to click Save to apply the changes.
Video Communication Configuration #

1. Expand the Video Communication Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Visit https://www.videosdk.live to create an account for your school. After creating the account, generate a VideoSDK Token and paste it into the VideoSDK Token field in the configuration settings.
Paystack Configuration #
It allows you to integrate Paystack as your school’s payment gateway. By entering your Paystack public and secret keys, along with the merchant email, you enable secure and seamless online fee payments directly from the platform.

1. Expand the Paystack Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Visit https://paystack.com to create an account for your school to receive online payments.
After creating the account, generate your Paystack Public Key and Secret Key, then paste them into the corresponding fields in the configuration settings.
Enter the school's email address in the Merchant Email field.
Hostel Configuration #

1. Expand the Hostel Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Enable Hostel Fee Compulsory if the transportation fee must be paid during school fee payment; otherwise, leave it disabled.
3. Enable Is Hostel Enabled to allow students to access the Hostel module on the web app and mobile app.
Grading System #

1. Expand the Grade System dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Select your default Grade System (previously created). If you haven’t created one yet, click the provided link to learn how.
3. Choose the Elementary Segment for pupils in elementary school. This enables the generation of elementary-style report cards.
4. Input the Subject Pass Mark (e.g., if set to 45, any student scoring 45 or above will pass the subject).
5. Enter the Average/Cumulative Pass Percentage — this is the minimum term percentage required to pass overall.
6. Select the Promotion Type:
- Third Term Only – uses only the third term result for promotion.
- Cumulative – uses a combined result from all three terms.
7. Input the Total Marks Per Subject — this should reflect the sum of assessment and exam scores.
8. Upload or input the Report Card Signature and School Stamp, if applicable.
9. Under Mark Report Message, add a note or announcement that will appear on the report card (e.g., resumption date or term-end remarks).
10. Toggle the Position on Report Card setting to either show or hide students' positions (ranking) on their report cards.

11. Edit, Add, Delete, or Enable/Disable items in the Affective Domain and Psychomotor Domain — these fields allow grading on areas like behavior, attitude, and skills directly on the report card.
Free Structure Setup #

1. Expand the Fee Structure Setup dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Select your Default Fee Payment Type — for example, Monthly, Per Term, or One-Time Payment.
3. Compose a Default Payment Reminder Message that will be sent to parents or guardians who have not paid.
Payroll Deduction #

1. Expand the Payroll Deduction dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Toggle Send Payroll Slip to Employee to enable or disable automatic sending of payslips to employees.
Student and Staff ID Card Configuration #

1. Expand the Student ID Card Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Select two preferred Matching Colors that align with your school’s brand identity.
3. Choose the Fields to Display on the ID card and specify whether you want a Front and Back Template.
4. Upload the Signature and input the URL you want the QR code to redirect to when scanned (e.g., your school’s website).
5. Compose a Default Information Message to be displayed on the ID card (e.g., school address, contact details, or important notes).
Receipt Configuration #

1. Expand the Receipt Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Customize the Color Scheme of both Fee and Salary Receipts to match your school’s branding or preferences.
Student Performance Setting #

1. Expand the Student Performance Setting dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Choose whether Student Performance Reports should be sent automatically or manually:
- If set to automatic, select the period of the month in which the performance report should be sent to students.
3. Toggle whether you want Student Performance to be visible on the mobile app for students or teachers.
4. If you initially selected manual, toggle options to manually grade areas like Discipline and Compliance as well as Sports and Events.
5. You can also customize the Performance Remarks for categories like Poor, Average, and Excellent, if the default remarks do not meet your needs.
Internal Communication Configuration #
Note: The Internal Communication Configuration allows users to communicate within the platform via web and mobile app. It also enables authorized roles to create group conversations for effective collaboration.

1. Expand the Internal Communication Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Add and select Roles and Recipients that can communicate with each other — for example, the Super Admin can communicate with all roles.
3. Define the Roles permitted to create Group Conversations within the internal communication system.
External Communication Configuration #
Note: The External Communication feature allows authorized roles to send emails to recipients' registered email addresses. It is primarily used for announcements and one-way notifications, without expecting a reply.

1. Expand the External Communication Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Select the Role(s) Authorized to Send External Messages (e.g., Super Admin, Principal).
3. Choose the Recipient Roles that are allowed to receive these messages (e.g., Parents, Students, Staff).
Complaints Configurations #

1. Expand the Complaints Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Enable or Disable Compliant Modules to control complaint modules are accessible on the student or teacher mobile platforms.
Admission Configuration #

1. Expand the Admission Configuration dropdown to view the input fields.
2. Write an admission confirmation message that will be sent to the user after their admission has been approved.
3. Enable Admission Exam if students are required to take an entrance test. Then, create the exam under the Admission Exam module.
4. Enable Exam Score Notification if you want students to receive their admission exam scores via email after the test or CBT.
5. Enable Admission Fee if an application fee is required.
6. Input the actual Admission Fee Amount in the designated field.
